The Institute of Niger Delta Studies (INDS) is a postgraduate research and teaching centre of the University of Port Harcourt, established to advance scholarship on the Niger Delta region — its people, environment, economy and security. Based at the Delta Park Campus, Choba, the Institute brings together researchers across disciplines to address the region’s most pressing developmental challenges.
Through its multidisciplinary graduate programmes, INDS trains the next generation of scholars, policy makers and industry leaders, combining rigorous academic study with practical, real-world relevance to the Niger Delta and beyond.
